Please note: Certified certificates must be presented to the Doctoral Committee and the Students’ Administrative Office.
Before starting the dissertation project:
- Find a PhD supervisor (Member of the University of Osnabrück / at least PhD) and specify the topic of the dissertation ### Application for acceptance as doctoral candidate (pre-procedure) § 6 PromO
Applicants must file an application to the Doctoral Committee of the FB 08 and submit the relevant attachments:
- Specification of dissertation topic
- Name of supervisor
- CV (including academic education)
- Proof of university entrance qualification
- The diploma, master's or state examination certificate (certified copies)
- Explanation of any previous applications for a PhD, psychology
- Recommendation letter from the supervisor on the suitability of the topic for dissertation research and the doctoral student’s qualification for receiving a doctoral degree in natural sciences or humanities (§ 1 (2)).
