Dean of Student Affairs at the Institute of Psychology
The Dean of Student Affairs is responsible for ensuring provisions of academic programs and student advisory as well as ensuring proper administration of examinations. She or he has the responsibility of making sure that all members of the faculty fulfill their duties in teaching and in administering examinations. In order to carry out his or her tasks, the Dean of Student Affairs may participate in Dean's Office meetings of institutes to which an academic program is assigned, of which he or she however is not a member. The Dean of Student affairs has the right to petition and the right to speak in these meetings.
The Study Commission proposes a member of the university lecturer group to the Institute Council or, in exceptional cases, a teaching member of the co-worker group to be elected as a Dean of Student Affairs. The Study Commission may propose the dismissal of the Dean to the Institute Council, by a two-thirds majority of its voting members.
