Social Psychology is the scientific study of how the experience and behavior of individuals is influenced by the actual or imagined presence of others.

Our main areas of research and teaching at Osnabrück University include intergroup relations (with a focus on prejudice, racism, protest research and allyship), identity processes, and cross-cultural social psychology.
