Kurs Blockpraktikum Neuroanatomie
Wir organisieren den 1-wöchigen Blockkurs "Neuroanatomie", der an der Universität Münster durch Prof. Dr. W. Knabe in der vorlesungsfreien Zeit des WS und SS durchgeführt und aus Studienqualitätsmitteln finanziert wird. Der Kurs ist teilnehmerbeschränkt. Bei Überschreiten der Interessentenzahl erfolgt die Platzvergabe im Losverfahren. Weitere Informationen hier.

Beschreibung:
This workshop is for students that are interested in learning about psychologists whose work is to deal with traumatic stress and the reactions given to traumatic stress due to working with people struggling with traumatic stress. Psychologists are also at the risk of developing secondary traumatic stress, compassion fatigue, vicarious traumatic stress, post traumatic depreciation, post traumatic growth and vicarious post traumatic growth since they work with people suffering from traumatic stress symptoms. At the workshop, participants will learn and discuss these trauma concepts and also differentiate among them. Protective factors against traumatic reactions will be discovered by discussions and activities. In addition, the presenter will share some knowledge derived from a nationally funded project about factors related to secondary traumatic stress of psychologists due to 6 February 2023 Kahramanmaraş centered earthquakes.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tuğba Yılmaz researches and teaches as a clinical psychologist at the Department of Psychology at Marmara University in Istanbul. She completed her PhD at Middle East Technical University on the topic of body dissatisfaction and body shaming in women. Currently, she works as Principal Investigator in a national project on secondary traumatic stress experienced by psychologist offering psychotherapy after the Covid-19 Period.
